It has been such a good end to a year with a nomination for the Herald Fashion Awards as Fashion Online Graduate. I have been blogging for 3 years now with love from the things I see and from the talents I have met. The event was lovely and beautifully put together from location to decorations. The event was at Arta in Glasgow. As you entered there was a framed poster of all the finalist of the night 🙂 !!! I found it a absolute delight to see all of the finalist together.
We were then directed into the main room which was were all the excitement was to begin from fashion show to award ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Eunice Olumide and the DJ was Joshua Barr.
As Debenhams was one of the sponsors of the event, they provide us with a lovely fashion show, along side Scotland Re:Design. It was nice seeing the contrast of colours from Debenhams A/W 2014 collection to the talented designs from the designers of Scotland Re:Design team.
After a break, the ceremony we were all waiting for started … I am sad to say I didnt win the award I was hoping to but I was honored to be nominated !

It was certainly a lovely night, fully of fabolous people and creatives which will set Scotland’s creative industry. The event was a start to more great things to come for Scottish fashion industry.
My look for the event ………
I decided I needed to have my signature colour with me.. Yelllllow!
I found this fabolous yellow skirt on Asos and had to buy it. It fit perfectly on me as it made a statement. I popped it on with a lace crop top from Topshop and statement pearl necklace… It just made me feel fierce! I had to put to tights as it was cold and I was coming in from Edinburgh. I couldn’t help put put on my comfy YSL heels and my Marc by Marc Jacob bag.
