I love coming up with new ways to make healthier snacks as I am a lady who likes to munch alot. This time I teamed up with Lizi’s Granola. These bars are simple and fun to make and doesn’t take long to make. I find making your own snacks fun as you can what you want to the mix, less or more sweetness, dry fruits, honey or anything else. Lizi’s Granola is great for this recipe as its already chocolate ( my fave flavour) .

If you get all the ingredients out then its easy to set off:

What you need:

1 cup Lizi’s Granola

1/2 cup of Oats

1 teaspoon of desiccated coconut

1 teaspoon of Naturya superberries ( can you use anything for this )

1 1/2 tablespoon of dairy free butter ( can you use any butter )

vanilla extract

Maple syrup or Agave syrup

almonds, cashews ( or any sort of nuts) – if your allergic it is not a must



1- In a bowl put in the granola, oats , coconut and Naturya superberries and mix it together

2- In a heated pan melt some butter and add in the syrup, vanilla and what ever other ingredit you wish – ( I sometimes add cinnamon)

3- After melting all the ingredients then add in the dry ingredients

4- Mix it on in the pan on the hob until all dry ingredients are covered in the sauce. Turn on the oven to 150 degrees

5- On a flat over tray, cover it with baking paper before putting anything on it.

6- Pour on the hot granola on to the tray into a rectangular shape.

7- Put it into the oven and leave it in for 10-15 mins ( try to make sure it doesn’t burn) 

8- Leave it out to cool till it becomes hard. ( this will allow you to cut them into bars)


This is a great snack when you have a sweet tooth like mine. Its healthy, and easily stored in the fridge for the week. I tend to cut them into squares so I try not to eat it all.
