It has been such a good end to a year with a nomination for the Herald Fashion Awards as Fashion Online Graduate. I have been blogging for 3 years now with love from the things I see and from the talents I have met. The event was lovely and beautifully put together from location to decorations. The event was at Arta in Glasgow. As you entered there was a framed poster of all the finalist of the night 🙂 !!! I found it a absolute delight to see all of the finalist together.

I was such an honor for me to be nominated with fabolous and great people who I know and adore.

All the guest received warm greetings from all the staff and was directed to different rooms. One room was for the guest to relax and mingle with everyone, the other room was made into a small exhibition.

 Some of Nicci.N ‘s collection

We were then directed into the main room which was were all the excitement was to begin from fashion show to award ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Eunice Olumide and the DJ was Joshua Barr.

The room was cosy and comfortable with a lovely interior.

As Debenhams was one of the sponsors of the event, they provide us with a lovely fashion show, along side Scotland Re:Design. It was nice seeing the contrast of colours from Debenhams A/W 2014 collection to the talented designs from the designers of Scotland Re:Design team.

My look for the event ………

I decided I needed to have my signature colour with me.. Yelllllow!

Top: Topshop    Skirt: Asos    Bag: Marc by Marc Jacob  Heels: YSL   Necklace: Topshop

I found this fabolous yellow skirt on Asos and had to buy it. It fit perfectly on me as it made a statement. I popped it on with a lace crop top from Topshop and statement pearl necklace… It just made me feel fierce! I had to put to tights as it was cold and I was coming in from Edinburgh. I couldn’t help put put on my comfy YSL heels and my Marc by Marc Jacob bag.

  1. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super quick for me on Opera. Exceptional Blog!
