It is the first time for me to attend Edinburgh Mela in the 20 years its been open and thriving. I was asked with a fellow blogger Nicole Findlay from Coco made her do it, to attend the fashion show. Edinirgh Mela was celebrating their 20th anniversary on the day !

I was lucky to know some of the lovely make-up artist such as the amazing Saleema Ali( Head Make-up artist, which is no surprise to me because she is such a professional talent) and the lovely Alexis from Aadora.Bella ( who is an absolute gem). The make up was stunning and matched the feel of the clothes and show.

The fashion show was in a massive red tent in Leith Links! People were waiting to see the new trends to look at.

The designers in the fashion show was from a mixture of cultures and suits different styles. I was in love with the designers and what they brought. The show contained SKM couture, Majestic by Eliza, Red Carpet Luxury Dresses, Al Haya Abayas, Agnes H and Bongayi, Kidswear by Heritage of Scotland and Bharosa Boutique.

These are some backstage pictures of the clothing and models.

I feel in love with their beautiful crafted designs. It was like a beautiful dream you wanted to be in.

I was very happy to be invited to such a cultural event. I learned alot about different designs and styles from other cultures, its all a lovely learning curve.

I decided to go really simple as it was outside in a part but pop it up with colour.
Orange Waist Coat: River Island( Old one )
T-shirt: Faz Fashion Diary
Jeans : American Eagle Outfitters

When going through the Mela, I had to buy one of the lovely head pieces… Tried my best to put it on but it was a wee big heavy.
